OCCUPY THE ELMDALE TAVERN!

AN OCCUPY PARTY  - JUST FOR YOU!  NO TENTS REQUIRED.

City landscapes matter!  Lansdowne Park matters!

Let's raise a beer for Friends of Lansdowne.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

The Elmdale Tavern, 1084 Wellington Street West (link to map here)

Clive Doucet is back in town with tales of great cities and great parks.

Let's get inspired and do some occupying in support of Friends of Lansdowne as their very dedicated lawyer, Steven Shrybman, and his colleagues at Sack Goldblatt Mitchell prepare to take their case to the Court of Appeal for Ontario on November 28, 2011. Tickets $10 at the door. All proceeds to Friends of Lansdowne.

Some live music (hopefully!) and lots of great local beer (for sure)!

Feel free to invite a friend!

The New Art Festival in Central Park in the Glebe

Volunteers Hard at Work

Come visit the Friends of Lansdowne booth at the New Art Festival (Central Park in the Glebe) between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5 for a chance to become the owner of some great works of art.

We are very grateful to renowned local artists Phillip Craig, Christopher Griffin and Jaya Krishnan for donating paintings to the cause. As well, Jamelie Hassan, recipient of the Governor General's Award for the Visual Arts has donated a limited edition print. Come take part in a silent auction or buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win a framed drawing of what Lansdowne Park could be, as imagined by Bhat Boy.

The New Art Festival is a great, family-friendly outdoor art event and we encourage you all to come and see the type of wonderful experiences that can be had in a city park which is truly public and community-oriented. The event is FREE.
